19 December 2007 - Joyce Maley of Hurricane Alpacas attended a Webinar presented by Northwest Alpacas on "Selecting Your First Alpaca."

18 December 2007 - Randall Gooding of Emmett Acres Alpacas completed a transport, bringing down 11 alpacas for Hurricane Alpacas and 1 alpaca that is co-owned by three members of the Consortium.

8 December 2007 - Joyce Maley of Hurricane Alpacas attended one of the new Webinars presented by Northwest Alpacas on "Alpaca Business and Tax Planning."

November 2007 - Cloud Weavers at Alpaca Junction of Florida, and Emmett Acres Alpacas and Mini Llamas of South Carolina, and Hurricane Alpacas of South Carolina, have established the Southern Alpaca Consortium that is designed to help all three farms work better together, provide a wider selection of alpacas to people looking to purchase alpacas and provide a wider range of services to our customers.
